Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for patient care.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding as necessary
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (Expanded Function Certification is preferred)
- Current certification in CPR
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
